Season Update – Sunday, August 7, 2016
Our farm is closed on Sundays. Our crew needs a day to rest and to spend one of the few remaining summer vacation days with their families. It may not be “good for business,” but it is good for the soul. Thank you for understanding.
Our U-Pick field has HUGE sections that have not been touched yet this year. The field will open again on Monday, August 8 at dawn. It closes every day at dusk. I’ve checked the extended forecast. This will be a great week to pick wild blueberries.
Starting tomorrow, the week of August 8 to 13, we will be busy filling orders that have been placed for our 10 lb. boxes of blueberries. Because so many conditions have been right, including Jimmy’s upgrades to our equipment and cold storage, we are capable of producing more 10 lb. boxes than in the past. This has opened up our capacity to fill orders like never before. If you are interested in the flavor sensation of our wild blueberries, reserve your boxes here: Order Here
How much longer? With the incredible weather we have been experiencing, Saturday, August 13 may be the last day for our 10 lb. boxes. Don’t delay.
See you soon!
