Season Update – August 12, 2017

Today is another busy day of fresh packing our wild Maine blueberries for hundreds of customers who are visiting our farm again this summer.  Our short two-week season is one that our customers mark on their calendars every single summer, and our annual visit on the barn porch is truly one of the best parts of the season.

Season Update

Here is a season update as we look ahead to our last week.  We are predicting FRESH blueberries will be available through Thursday or Friday (August 17 or 18).  Frozen blueberries from this season are also available.

There is still availability on next week’s schedule (Monday through Thursday).  If you want to place an order, click here.  ORDER HERE

Every season we finish with a stock of FROZEN blueberries that are available for purchase while supplies last.  Starting August 19th we will provide updates on availability of our frozen stock here on our website and directly to those on our e-mailing list.

The U- Pick field is open.  Local news sources are reporting the entire wild blueberry industry is seeing a notable reduction in this year’s crop, just as we are.  But our customers are telling us the picking is “good,” all things considered, though certainly not the exceptional hand picking we have come accustomed to expect.  The good news is the quality of the blueberries remains the same–antioxidant packed and delicious!

Rosalie’s Old Blueberry Farm Gift Shop is open and filled with unique gift items.  Customers look forward to browsing her shop every season.

If you have any questions, we can be reached by e-mail or by calling us at 207-570-7500.

There’s NOTHING like a Wild Maine Blueberry!
