Now Accepting Orders for the 2016 Season

We are now accepting orders for our 10 lb. boxes of freshly winnowed wild Maine blueberries for the 2016 season.

When you place an order, your wild blueberries are reserved on a first-come, first-served list, locking in your order for the limited supply of boxes we fresh pack during the short three-week season.

No deposit is required. Payment is due when you pick up your blueberries.

Unfortunately, we are unable to ship your blueberries. All orders are picked up here at the farm.

Fresh blueberries are typically available the first three weeks in August. Frozen blueberries are available in early August through September, while supplies last.

Transporting tip: fresh vs. frozen: Many people purchase several boxes to freeze and enjoy until the next blueberry season. When deciding whether to order frozen or fresh blueberries for your freezer, it’s important to note that fresh blueberries transport much better than frozen. After a short time, frozen blueberries may experience slight thawing even when packed in coolers with many ice packs. Also it’s important to note that fresh blueberries love your air conditioning as much as you do. But if space is limited and they must ride in your trunk, please consider bringing coolers and ice packs for their riding comfort. This will give you the freshest blueberries possible when you arrive home.

The blueberry plants look extremely healthy and are beginning to show signs of life after a long Maine winter. We anxiously anticipate another great crop this summer.

We look forward to seeing you in August,
Jimmy and Denise Alexander
